Elise Freeman

Elise Freeman is a qualified geomorphologist with extensive experience in geological sciences. Currently serving as a CMER Geomorphologist at the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission since May 2023, Elise previously held the position of Staff Geologist at Associated Earth Sciences, Inc. from April 2021 to May 2023. During a brief tenure as a Geoscientist-in-the-Parks, Visual Interpretation Intern with the National Park Service in 2018, Elise developed a junior ranger program for the Ice Age Floods National Geologic Trail and engaged with various educators and museums across multiple states. Elise Freeman holds a Master of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science degree in the same field from Portland State University, supplemented by an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Portland Community College.
