Stephanie Thurner is a Quantitative Fisheries Biologist at the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission since June 2021, specializing in Coho salmon modeling to support Tribal fisheries managers. Prior to this, Stephanie served as a Biometrician I, providing statistical analysis and modeling services. Experience also includes involvement with the Salmon Technical Team at the Pacific Fishery Management Council from January 2022 to April 2023, and various research roles at the University of Washington, including Graduate Research Assistant and Research Strategy Analyst focused on ecological modeling and fisheries data. Education includes a Master of Science in Aquatic and Fisheries Sciences from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree from Albion College.
