Lauren Hensley

Lauren Hensley currently serves as the SPED Department Head at Northwest Independent School District since 2022. Prior to this role, Lauren held teaching positions at Denton ISD from August 2021 to January 2022, Springtown ISD from August 2017 to September 2021, and Bridgeport ISD from August 2016 to May 2018. In addition to educational roles, Lauren has marketing experience, having worked as the Marketing Director for Habitat for Humanity from July 2011 to October 2012, where responsibilities included public relations and fundraising event planning. Earlier professional experience includes a Media Consultant role at Yellowbook USA from July 2008 to May 2011, focusing on advertising account management and digital marketing, and a Media Buyer position at Designworks Advertising from October 2005 to July 2006. Lauren Hensley holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University, completed in December 2020.
