Melissa DeSimone has extensive work experience in the field of education. Melissa started their career in 2007 as an Instructor and Clinical Instructor at ASU and Arizona State University, respectively. In these roles, they gained valuable experience in teaching and program coordination. In 2013, they joined Northwest ISD and held positions as the Director and later the Executive Director of Research, Assessment, and Accountability. Melissa has been an integral part of these organizations for several years, contributing to their success in enhancing research, assessment, and accountability practices.
Melissa DeSimone obtained their Ed.D. in Curriculum and Leadership from Arizona State University between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology and Education from Northern Arizona University.
