Jenika Burton

Jenika Burton has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jenika most recently served as the Director of Payer Contracts at Northwest Kidney Centers starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Network Contracting Executive at Centene Corporation from July 2021 to August 2022. Jenika also held the position of Senior Negotiator at Coordinated Care from December 2019 to July 2021.

Before joining Coordinated Care, they were a Network Relations Consultant at Amerigroup from June 2018 to November 2019. In this role, they developed and maintained positive relationships with providers and played a key role in recruiting providers to build a cost-effective, high-quality provider network.

Jenika's earlier professional experience includes working at DAVITA INC, where they served as a Senior Negotiator from May 2010 to June 2018. Jenika also held the position of President of the Charity Committee from January 2015 to May 2018, where they were responsible for budget management, coordination of community funding and grant requests, meeting facilitation, and policy and procedure oversight.

Jenika Burton holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Boise State University (2020-2023). Jenika also has a Certificate in Negotiation from KARRASS™ Negotiating obtained in 2016. Their previous education includes an Associate's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from The Art Institutes (2002-2003) and an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Natural Sciences from Tacoma Community College (2000-2002).
