Cedar Yelvington

Cedar Yelvington is an experienced field instructor and emergency medical technician with a diverse background in outdoor education, risk management, and medical services. Currently serving as a Field Instructor at Northwest Outward Bound School, Cedar has led multiple leadership semesters and instructor sessions since 2022. In addition, Cedar provides BLS medical services for Adventure Medics and has held various instructional roles with The Venture Out Project and Adventures Without Limits, where responsibilities included risk management, policy development, and trip leading. Previous experience includes working as an outdoor instructor at The Bush School, a field instructor at Evoke Therapy Programs, and an emergency medical technician at Metro West Ambulance. Cedar holds a Wilderness Medicine and Rescue Diploma from NOLS and has an educational background from The University of New Mexico and Northern New Mexico College.
