Casey Eggleston has extensive experience in education and life coaching. From February 2022 to February 2025, Casey served as both the Assistant Dean of Dual Enrollment and Director of Dual Enrollment at Northwest Shoals Community College. Prior to that, from January 2003 to March 2022, Casey managed the Upward Bound Shoals Campus and coordinated the Shoals Campus Upward Bound Program at Northwest Shoals Community College-Muscle Shoals. Additionally, since January 2000, Casey has owned and operated The Center of Excellence & Life Coaching, providing life coaching services, conducting anger management workshops, and hosting community events. Early in the career, Casey worked as a therapist at Riverbend Community Mental Health, focusing on family and children's services. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Alabama and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Southern Mississippi.

Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) is part of the Alabama Community College System and home to over 4,000 students. NWSCC has been providing postsecondary and workforce education to Northwest Alabama for 60 years. NWSCC provides academic, career technical and lifelong educational opportunities. The College operates two campuses, the Shoals campus in Muscle Shoals and the Phil Campbell Campus in Phil Campbell, located in Franklin County.
