Kaylie also interned as a Juvenile Court Intake Intern and worked as a Sales Associate and Barista. Currently pursuing a Certificate in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy while working towards a Bachelor's in Social Work at Carthage College.

NWSRA exists to provide outstanding opportunities through recreation for children and adults with disabilities. NWSRA strives for each participant to function at his/her highest level of ability. Benefits of participation include increased socialization and community awareness, development of new leisure skills, increased physical and emotional well being, and increased self esteem, all in a fun, safe and structured recreation environment. 17 park districts that are served through NWSRA include: Arlington Heights, Bartlett, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Mt. Prospect, Palatine, Prospect Heights, River Trails, Rolling Meadows, Salt Creek, Schaumburg, South Barrington, Streamwood and Wheeling.
