Brian Wilkins

Brian Wilkins, PE, currently serves as Supervisor of Hydro Plant Controls and Automation at NorthWestern Energy, a position held since May 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing plant controls such as PLC and HMI programming. Prior to this, Brian worked as a Hydro Engineer for Butte Silver Bow from June 2015 to May 2019 and served as Operations Manager of the Water Division at Pioneer Technical Services, Inc. from May 2012 to June 2015. Experience also includes a role as Operation Manager/Project Manager at MERDI from May 2004 to June 2012, managing daily operations of treatment facilities and ensuring compliance with HSSE standards. Earlier in the career, Brian functioned as an onsite operator at a 2,500-acre lime precipitation treatment facility. Brian holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Montana Technological University, earned in December 2003.
