David Blin has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and organizations. David started their career in 1988 as a Communications Specialist and Police Dispatcher for the Town of Colchester. In 1998, they joined the University of Vermont as a Clinical Instructor, providing clinical instruction and assisting in program development for the Medical Laboratory Science Program. In 1999, they transitioned to Fletcher Allen Health Care, where they held the positions of Supervisor and later Manager in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. In 2007, they joined Northwestern Medical Center as the Director of Laboratory Services. David then assumed the role of Director of Diagnostic Services, overseeing Laboratory and Radiology departments starting in August 2019.
David Blin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Vermont in 1991. David later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Operations Management and Supervision at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business, graduating from 1997 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained a Private Pilot License in Aircraft Single Engine Land from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2023 and completed the Executive Leadership Program (ExcEL) at Champlain College in 2012.
