James Zhang

James Zhang is a Radiology Resident at Northwestern Medicine since July 2020, following a Transitional Year Residency at Wellstar Health System from July 2019 to July 2020. Zhang completed an MD/PhD in Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, where the thesis focused on optogenetic enhancement of stem cell therapy for traumatic brain injury. Prior to this, Zhang served as an Intramural Research Training Award Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from June 2010 to June 2011, specializing in animal behavior research. Zhang earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University in 2010.
