Dan Murphy

Dan Murphy has over 19 years of experience in the fields of IT governance, risk, compliance, and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Northwestern Mutual since April 2019, Dan has also held various leadership roles within the organization, including Assistant Director of Test Engineering and Test Engineering Manager. Prior to this, Dan worked at Health Payment Systems, Inc. as a Privacy Officer and Manager of QA, DevOps, & Infrastructure, as well as Quality Assurance Manager. Earlier career experience includes a tenure at Robert W. Baird & Co. in Software Quality Assurance and multiple roles at Northwestern Mutual. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
