Krista Bainbridge

Krista Bainbridge is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in underwriting and learning development, having served as Senior Director of Underwriting Learning at Northwestern Mutual from January 2005 to June 2025. In this role, Krista focused on driving the design, development, and delivery of educational programs for underwriting while also identifying ongoing education needs. Previously, Krista held the position of Assistant Director of Underwriter Learning and contributed to the creation and execution of learning strategies as a Learning and Development Underwriter Consultant. Additionally, Krista has entrepreneurial experience as the Owner and Lifestyle Blogger of Savory Savings, where insights on organic living, gluten-free cooking, and family-focused content were shared. Krista also served as a Social Media Marketing and Lifestyle Blogger at Gloriously Green Gal. Krista holds a Bachelor's of Science in Communication from the Lubar College of Business, earned in January 2009.
