Vinny Carpenter

Vinny Carpenter is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in cloud and DevOps engineering. Currently serving as Vice President at Northwestern Mutual since January 2018, Vinny has held multiple leadership roles including Senior Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer. Prior experience includes significant tenure at Artisan Partners, where Vinny managed architecture, strategy, and R&D, while also working as a Senior Software Architect focused on delivering business value through software development and strategy. Previously, Vinny held positions such as Lead Architect at Wells Fargo Advantage Funds and Enterprise Architect at Strong. Early career roles include Webmaster at Quad/Graphics and Marquette University. Vinny holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University.
