Laila Skramstad

Laila Skramstad is a currently employed Paralegal at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, specializing in Trial Bureau 40 since August 2024. Additionally, Laila serves as a Mentor at Curious Cardinals, where a 10-week curriculum has been designed to support high school students' exploratory learning. Previous experience includes roles as Programming Director at WNUR 89.3FM, coordinating schedules and community engagement, and as a Farrell Fellow and Research Assistant at Northwestern University, contributing to scholarly analyses on authoritarianism and refugee experiences. Laila has also interned at PRIO, OpenMarkets, and the Rodham Institute, gaining diverse experience in research, business development, and curriculum design.
