Arjan Quist

Arjan Quist currently serves as the Executive Director of Innovation Management at Northwestern University's Innovation and New Ventures Office, with a tenure that began in September 2011. Quist has held multiple leadership roles within the office, focusing on intellectual property management in the fields of Physical Sciences and Engineering, and has experience in transitioning technologies from research settings to commercial applications. Additionally, Quist has contributed as a reviewer and panelist for the National Science Foundation's SBIR/STTR programs since January 2020. Previous experience includes directing nanotechnology initiatives at Richmond Chemical Corporation and conducting research at prestigious institutions such as UCSB and Uppsala Universitet. Arjan Quist holds a PhD in Biotech and Nanotech from Uppsala University, an MSc in Experimental Physics from VU Amsterdam, and an Executive Education Certificate in Staff Leadership from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
