Igal Hendel

Igal Hendel is a Professor of Economics at Northwestern University, beginning in October 2004. Recently, Igal worked at Amazon as part of the Core AI team from October 2022 to February 2023. Prior to this role, Igal served as Chief Economist at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from October 2017 to September 2022. Igal Hendel earned a PhD in Economics from Harvard University, completing the degree between January 1989 and January 1994.
