Jesus Galvan

Jesus Galvan, M.Ed., currently serves as the Assistant Director of Student Enrichment Services at Northwestern University, a position held since December 2022. Previously, Jesus worked as a Program Manager for the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs at the University of Michigan from July 2021 to January 2023 and as a Retention Specialist at California State University, Fullerton from July 2020 to July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Academic Advisor at the University of California, Merced, and as a Graduate Assistant in the Academic Program for Excellence at Iowa State University, where Jesus developed mentoring programs and evaluated services for multicultural students. Jesus began the career in higher education as a First & Second Year Advising Intern at Loyola University Chicago, and has a foundational background in community engagement, co-founding Ballet Folklorico Girasol to promote Mexican culture among youth. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Iowa State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Loyola University Chicago.
