Sofía Meléndez

Sofía Meléndez is a dedicated Project Manager at City Health Tech Inc. since January 2023 and serves as a CS Peer Mentor at Northwestern University, where support is provided for students in foundational software design. As a Resident Team Lead and Co-Manager of the Jumpstart Pre-Accelerator Program at The Garage at Northwestern, Sofía has demonstrated leadership and entrepreneurial skills, notably securing $10,000 in funding for startup development. Previous experience includes managing projects for student startups at the Institute For Student Business Education, and working as a Junior Software Developer at BearRoom, which is focused on transforming board games into digital formats. Sofía's early career involved internships at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, where insights into finance and investment strategies were gained. Sofía is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science at Northwestern University and holds a Bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma from The Baldwin School of Puerto Rico.
