Veronica Y. Womack

Veronica Y. Womack, PhD, is a lecturer in the Department of Black Studies at Northwestern University since March 2019, with a courtesy appointment and additional roles as Associate Director and Senior Project Manager of Inclusive Learning at lulafit since May 2021. Womack has extensive teaching experience, including positions as a Social Psychology Instructor at Lake Forest College and as a Mindfulness Studies Instructor at Governors State University. Previous research roles include serving as a Research Associate at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, focusing on interventions for underrepresented minorities in biomedical sciences, and a Cardiovascular Epidemiology Postdoctoral Fellow conducting research on psychosocial factors related to health behaviors. Womack's educational background includes a PhD in Social Psychology, an MS in Psychology, and a BS in Psychology, all obtained from Howard University.
