David Copeland is responsible for evaluating real estate equity and debt investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Mr. Copeland worked at Swift Real Estate Partners in San Francisco, where he was responsible for Swift’s investment and asset management activities in Northern California. Mr. Copeland sat on Swift’s Investment Committee, which oversaw all major investment and management decisions across four investment vehicles. Prior to joining Swift, Mr. Copeland worked at ASB Real Estate Investments, Presidio Partners (acquired by Macquarie Group) and Lincoln Property Company.
Mr. Copeland earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Lafayette College.

Kukral, the former President and CEO of Blackstone Real Estate Advisors. Established in 2010, Northwood Hospitality manages the hotel portfolio, both independent and branded properties, acquired by Northwood Investors.
