Amer Beharic has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Amer currently holds the position of Vice President, Finance and Operations at Norton Brownsboro Hospital within Norton Healthcare. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Operations at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside. Additionally, Amer has held roles at Norton Healthcare as Director of Clinical Effectiveness and Quality, Administrative Fellow, and Industrial Engineer. Amer also served as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Ivy Tech Community College. Amer has contributed to the healthcare industry as a member of the Board of Directors at Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida, Inc. and Metro United Way.
Amer Beharic, MEng, MBA, completed their education in Industrial Engineering at the University of Louisville. Amer obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering in 2016. Amer then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Industrial Engineering, which they completed in 2016. Continuing their education, Amer completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Data Analytics at the University of Louisville from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their academic achievements, Amer earned various certifications including Black Belt Certification (BB) from Norton Healthcare in 2016, Green Belt Certification (GB) from Norton Healthcare in 2014, Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers in 2017, and a Focus Louisville certification from the Leadership Louisville Center in 2017. Amer was also a member of the Leadership Louisville Class of 2020.
