Dr. Tabatha Wright

Dr. Tabatha Wright has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry spanning over two decades. Dr. Tabatha currently holds the position of Director of Patient Care Services at Norton Healthcare since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the ICU, TCU, & Critical Care Float Team Nurse Manager at Norton Womens and Childrens Hospital from June 2016 to July 2021. Before that, they worked as the Critical Care Clinical Educator at Norton Suburban Hospital from June 2012 to June 2016.

Dr. Wright also has experience working at the University of Louisville Hospital, where they served as a Critical Care Registered Nurse and eventually took on the role of Charge Nurse/ICU flex nurse from June 2004 to June 2016. Dr. Tabatha Wright, DNP, RN-INF, MBA, NEA-BC has a diverse education history that spans over several years. Dr. Tabatha obtained their Doctorate in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Practice from Northern Kentucky University between 2018 and 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Informatics from the University of Phoenix in 2012-2013. Dr. Tabatha also completed a Post Masters Certificate in Healthcare Informatic Systems at the University of Phoenix in 2011-2012. In 2009-2011, Dr. Wright obtained their Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Tabatha began their nursing education by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McKendree University in 2005-2007. Dr. Wright started their nursing career with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Sullivan University in 2003-2004. Lastly, they completed their Licensed Practical Nurse training at GALEN HEALTH INSTITUTE in 1998-1999. In addition to their educational accomplishments, Dr. Wright holds the Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC) certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, which they obtained in 2022.
