Nathan Bearden

Nathan Bearden, JD, is currently serving as Assistant General Counsel and Associate Research Legal Counsel at Norton Healthcare, where responsibilities involve drafting, reviewing, and negotiating research-related contracts and ensuring compliance with legal standards including HIPAA and the Anti-Kickback Statute. Prior to this role, Nathan gained valuable experience at MCM CPAs & Advisors as a Tax Intern and Tax Associate, focusing on state and local tax issues and drafting correspondence for tax controversies. Nathan also held a seasonal position at UPS and completed various internships in the tax department at MCM CPAs & Advisors. Nathan holds a Juris Doctor from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Louisville.
