Ion Badea

Ion Badea has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Ion started their career at Anglo Canadian in an operations role from 1998 to 2002. In 2003, they joined Norton Lilly International as a Port Manager, where they supervised a team and managed day-to-day operations in Southern California Ports. From 2006 to 2016, they took on the role of West Coast - District Manager, overseeing multiple Maritime Agency Offices along the US West Coast. From 2015 to 2021, they served as the Commercial Director at Norton Lilly International, handling market analysis, commercial planning, and marketing strategies. Currently, Ion Badea holds the position of Director of Bulk/Ro-Ro/Auto Operations at Norton Lilly International.

Ion Badea attended Joseph Haltrich High School from 1978 to 1982, where they pursued a field of study in mathematics. Following this, they enrolled at the Universitatea Petrol-Gaze din Ploiești from 1985 to 1991, although their degree name and field of study are unknown. Later, from 1996 to 1999, Ion Badea studied at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, earning a diploma in Port Logistics and Maritime Operations.
