Mamtha B.

Mamtha B. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Mamtha most recently worked as the Vice President of Quality at Humboldt Park Health, starting in October 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of Quality and Patient Safety at the same organization from May to October 2023.

Before joining Humboldt Park Health, Mamtha served as the Manager of Quality at Silver Cross Hospital from September 2022 to May 2023.

Mamtha'slongest tenure was at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where they held multiple roles. From May 2017 to December 2022, they served as the Manager for Clinical Excellence and Performance Improvement, overseeing quality management activities, process improvement projects, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, they worked as a Manager and Nursing Informatics Coordinator in the Emergency Department from July 2014 to May 2017, where they collaborated with health information systems staff to design and implement workflow solutions.

Mamtha's early experience includes work as a Registered Nurse at Cook County Hospital from January 2013 to July 2014.

Mamtha B. obtained a Master's degree in Health Informatics from the University of Illinois Chicago from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Bangalore University.

In addition to their formal education, Mamtha B. has obtained several certifications. Mamtha became a Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) through AHIMA in January 2016. Mamtha also earned the title of TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality in October 2017.

Further certifications include being a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from the Management and Strategy Institute in February 2018. In July 2019, Mamtha B. obtained the IHI Open School Certification Quality and Patient Safety from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School - University of Minnesota Chapter. Additionally, they became a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) through the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in December 2019.

Most recently, in June 2022, Mamtha B. acquired the Certified Professional Patient Safety certification from the Institute of Healthcare Improvement.
