Jose Angel Fernandez Aumaitre

Jose Angel Fernandez Aumaitre has extensive experience in marine engineering, currently serving as Staff Chief Engineer at Norwegian Cruise Line since June 2017. Previously, Jose held various engineering positions at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. from May 2008 to April 2017, including First Engineer and Second Engineer. Early career experience includes roles as Chief Engineer at Hanseatic Shipping Company/Bernard Shulte from January 2002 to May 2008 and as 3rd Engineer/2nd Engineer at Hanseatic Shipping Company from October 1997 to January 2002, as well as serving as a cadet at Bernard Shulte from 1995 to 1996. Jose holds a degree from Universidad Nacional Experimental Marítima del Caribe, where education was completed from 1993 to 1997.
