Kristian Halvorsen

Kristian Halvorsen is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in claims handling and marine advisory roles. Currently serving as Vice President Claims Asia at Norwegian Hull Club since September 2012, Kristian previously held the position of Sr. Claims Handler & Adjuster. Prior to this, Kristian worked at Global Maritime from April 2009 to September 2012 as a Marine Advisor, focusing on DP FMEAs, DP Trials, vettings, CMID, and OVID. Earlier experience includes serving as 1. Officer and Chief Officer at Eidesvik Offshore ASA from June 2005 to March 2009. Kristian holds a Bachelor of Science in Nautical Studies from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences and has completed aviation training as a Flight Instructor at Sierra Academy of Aeronautics, as well as air safety coursework at Air Safety in Vero Beach, Florida.
