Ahmed Ali Yusuf

Ahmed Ali Yusuf is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the humanitarian sector. Currently serving as Interim Regional Finance Controller for Central and West Africa and Global Finance Adviser at the Norwegian Refugee Council since January 2018, Ahmed has previously held roles including Country Finance Manager for Somalia and Interim Finance Manager for Ethiopia. Prior experience includes a tenure at Save the Children International, where the roles spanned from Country Finance Manager to Area Finance Officer, focusing on financial operations, budget development, and capacity building. Ahmed's career began with Humanitarian Initiative Just Relief Aid as a Program Accountant. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Kampala University and a Bachelor of Accountancy from SIMAD University.
