Clarissa Crippa

Clarissa Crippa is an experienced professional in humanitarian policy and financing, currently serving as a Senior Policy Adviser to the Secretary General at the Norwegian Refugee Council since March 2020. Crippa has held significant roles within the organization, including Humanitarian Financing Adviser and Humanitarian Financing Coordinator. Previous experience includes serving as Desk Manager for West Africa at CBM Italia Onlus and Regional Programme Adviser for Mali and the Central African Republic at the Norwegian Refugee Council. Crippa also worked at the World Food Programme, where multiple logistics positions were held, focusing on information management and operational support. Earlier career highlights include roles with The New York Times as a fixer/producer and with UNHCR as a Protection and Durable Solutions officer. Crippa holds a Master's degree in International Affairs with a focus on Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po and a Bachelor's degree in International Politics from City St George’s, University of London.
