Jeremy Taylor

Jeremy Taylor, PhD, serves as the Regional Head of Advocacy Media and Communication for East Africa and Yemen at the Norwegian Refugee Council, where responsibilities include organizational strategy development and providing policy guidance to country offices in response to humanitarian needs linked to displacement. Previous roles include Regional Advocacy Adviser, where monitoring and analysis of the humanitarian situation were key duties, and Conflict and Policy Analyst, offering contextual analysis and policy recommendations. As an Independent Consultant, Jeremy specialized in African political and conflict analysis, and during tenure at the African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes, Jeremy led the development of the Sudan/South Sudan Programme and conducted evaluations for UN missions. Jeremy's educational background features a PhD in Politics and International Studies from SOAS University of London, complemented by advanced degrees in Political Science and International Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
