Mark Thom

Mark joined NEP in 2017 bringing more than 26 years of active lifestyle, operations, and technology executive experience. As an operating partner, Mark helps source and evaluate investment opportunities and plays an active role in strategic planning, business growth, and corporate governance for NEP portfolio companies.

His experience includes business strategy implementation, technology and operational performance direction, and scalability. Mark previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Movati Athletic, where he was responsible for leading initiatives to re-name and re-brand the company, standardizing operations and organization structures, and creating a performance culture that balances the art and science of health club operations. Prior to Movati Athletic, Mark worked at Life Time Fitness as the Senior Vice President of Fitness and Nutrition Services where he scaled fitness operations and built a portfolio of innovative fitness studios and services. Mark also held a variety of technology based, executive roles at Yahoo!, Nortel Networks and Rockwell Space Operations Company.
