Arni Hardarson

Arni Hardarson is a director on Alvogen’s Board of Directors and serves as Deputy to the CEO. Prior to joining Alvogen in 2009, Hardarson worked for Deloitte in Iceland where he headed the Tax and Legal departments and soon went on to become a partner and member of the Executive Management Committee for Deloitte in 2001. In 2005 Hardarson joined Actavis as Vice President of Tax and Structure. During his tenure there, he worked closely with Robert Wessman and contributed to Actavis’ transformation from a regional manufacturer into a global pharmaceutical company, by engineering numerous company acquisitions that ultimately led to Actavis’ presence in over 40 countries around the world. Arni Hardarson holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Iceland and is a member of the Icelandic Bar Association.
