Faysal Kalmoua is the Executive Vice President of Portfolio at Alvogen. Kalmoua joined Alvogen in 2015, coming from Synthon, where he worked for nearly sixteen years. Originally a medicinal chemist, his many qualifications include a Masters Degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) and an Executive MBA from Insead.
He has significant strategic and operational experience in senior leadership roles. He has started off in the business working first as a Project Manager for multiple key products and subsequently as head of Business Development, Project Management and Portfolio Management. Since 2010, his main focus has been on "complex" generics, including first to file/ first to market opportunities and paths to differentiate from competitors with a broad coverage of geographies including regulated and semi-regulated markets across the globe.
