Briana Frost, MBA, serves as the Controller at a Not for Profit organization since December 2020. With a strong background in tax and financial reporting, Briana gained extensive experience at Lane Gorman Trubitt LLC from June 2017 to July 2020, progressing from Tax Intern to Senior I. Previous roles include Financial Reporting Intern at Workiva, where Briana created SEC reporting files, and Assistant Office Manager at The Affordable Housing Group, Inc., which involved administrative support and account reconciliation for over 350 apartment complexes. Educational credentials include an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Dallas Baptist University, alongside an Associate of Science in Business Administration and Management from Tyler Junior College.

Provide overall vision and leadership in growing the programs and participation within a Faith based NGO community. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Selecting and working with new board members, Program selection and management, Development/Fundraising to include: Annual Golf Tournament(s) Super Bowl Parties, Oktoberfest Activities, St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Party, Retreats, Silent Auctions, Major Gift Solicitation, and more -The funds raised provided support for our fallen military and their families; helped feed the hungry in our community, and provided struggling families partial scholarships for education and books -Raised Operational Funding for Edmund Rice School/Barry University Transferrable: Develop appropriate cultivation strategies, including working with volunteers - Move potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closure - Make solicitations when appropriate - Maintain stewardship contacts with donors; adhere to the highest ethical standards; demonstrate empathetic disposition, and perseverance; reflect optimistic and positive attitude, and convey sensitivity to needs of the donor
