Kim Giovanni is an experienced financial professional with a background in accounting and finance. Currently serving as a Business Accountant at Not for Profit since June 2019, Kim has also held key positions such as Treasurer for the Village of Johnsburg from July 2015 to June 2019 and Business Manager for Johnsburg School District 12 from July 2012 to June 2015. Prior to these roles, Kim was the Director of Business Services at the Special Education District of McHenry County from March 2005 to June 2012. Provide overall vision and leadership in growing the programs and participation within a Faith based NGO community. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Selecting and working with new board members, Program selection and management, Development/Fundraising to include: Annual Golf Tournament(s) Super Bowl Parties, Oktoberfest Activities, St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Party, Retreats, Silent Auctions, Major Gift Solicitation, and more -The funds raised provided support for our fallen military and their families; helped feed the hungry in our community, and provided struggling families partial scholarships for education and books -Raised Operational Funding for Edmund Rice School/Barry University Transferrable: Develop appropriate cultivation strategies, including working with volunteers - Move potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closure - Make solicitations when appropriate - Maintain stewardship contacts with donors; adhere to the highest ethical standards; demonstrate empathetic disposition, and perseverance; reflect optimistic and positive attitude, and convey sensitivity to needs of the donor
