Lizzie Clarke is an accomplished project manager with extensive experience in communications and event coordination within the not-for-profit and municipal sectors. Since April 2017, Lizzie has been managing projects at a not-for-profit organization, following a role as Tourism Coordinator for the Municipality of Clarington, where responsibilities included promoting the area to visitors and producing communication materials. Previous experience includes serving as Communications Coordinator for the Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation, where Lizzie independently managed the Durham regional office. Lizzie's earlier roles involved event planning and coordination at various organizations, including Abilities Centre and Durham Region Tourism. Lizzie holds a diploma in Esthetics and Makeup Artistry from the Art and Technique Institute and completed studies at Durham College.

Provide overall vision and leadership in growing the programs and participation within a Faith based NGO community. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Selecting and working with new board members, Program selection and management, Development/Fundraising to include: Annual Golf Tournament(s) Super Bowl Parties, Oktoberfest Activities, St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Party, Retreats, Silent Auctions, Major Gift Solicitation, and more -The funds raised provided support for our fallen military and their families; helped feed the hungry in our community, and provided struggling families partial scholarships for education and books -Raised Operational Funding for Edmund Rice School/Barry University Transferrable: Develop appropriate cultivation strategies, including working with volunteers - Move potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closure - Make solicitations when appropriate - Maintain stewardship contacts with donors; adhere to the highest ethical standards; demonstrate empathetic disposition, and perseverance; reflect optimistic and positive attitude, and convey sensitivity to needs of the donor
