Kevin Chih-Yao Huang has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries.

Kevin Chih-Yao started their career as a Trading Assistant at DRW Trading Group in 2007, where they executed volatility models for options pricing and verified option trades.

After that, they worked as a Research Intern at Intel, focusing on research and development.

Kevin Chih-Yao then worked as a Research Assistant at Vuckovic's Lab, where they designed photonic crystal input/output elements.

In 2008, they joined Hotung Venture Capital as an Industry Analyst, evaluating business plans and conducting industry research in solar and LED solid-state lighting.

Later that year, they worked as a Research Assistant at Hesselink's Lab, supporting research projects.

From 2009 to 2012, they pursued their Ph.D. at Brongersma Lab Stanford University, specializing in nanoscale LED fabrication and characterization.

Kevin Chih-Yao then joined Soraa Inc. as a Device Scientist, involved in LED packaging, metrology, manufacturing, and optics design.

Kevin Chih-Yao Huang has an extensive education history in the field of Electrical Engineering. Kevin Chih-Yao obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Kevin Chih-Yao further pursued their studies at Stanford University, where they earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from 2007 to 2009. Kevin Chih-Yao then continued at Stanford to complete their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from 2007 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin has also obtained various certifications in the field of Machine Learning. Kevin Chih-Yao earned certificates from deeplearning.ai in subjects including Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning. Furthermore, they have completed courses such as "Machine Learning A-Z™: Hands-On Python & R In Data Science" and "Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp" from Udemy in 2017.
