Laura Mills

Laura Mills is an Occupational Therapy Student at the University of Derby since September 2018, where coursework covers various modules, including assessments, evidence-based practice, and specialist skills in occupational therapy. Concurrently, Laura works part-time as a Catering Assistant at Notcutts Ltd. since September 2016. Laura has completed notable placements, achieving outstanding grades, at Alderwasley Hall School and Highbury Hospitality Private Limited, where skills in patient assessments and group therapy were developed. Recognition includes a staff award for commitment to students and an offered position as a Band 4 Occupational Therapist Assistant following a successful placement. Educational background includes studies at Nottingham College.
