Therese Martin Portman has an extensive background in religious education and youth ministry, spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a High School Religion Teacher at Notre Dame Academy since 1999, Therese has also acted as the Religion Department Chairperson and has led various multicultural service immersions, developed community service programs, and facilitated school liturgies and retreats. Prior experience includes serving as Youth Minister and Confirmation Director at St. Paul the Apostle Parish from 1993 to 1998 and again from 2001 to 2006, as well as teaching religion at Catholic High Schools from 1978 to 1986. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Loyola Institute for Spirituality and a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Loyola Marymount University.
