Joe Grecol

Police Chief at Notre Dame College

Joe Grecol has been working in law enforcement for over 25 years. Joe started their career as a police patrolman in the city of Berea, Ohio. Joe then served on the Cuyahoga County SWAT team for 19 years, where they were a hostage/crisis negotiator. In 2006, they were promoted to police sergeant in Berea, and then to chief of police in 2014. Joe has been serving as the police chief at Notre Dame College since 2019.

Joe Grecol attended the OPOTA Police Academy and then went on to study psychology at Cleveland State University, where they earned their bachelor's degree.
