Maria Shine Stewart

Maria Shine Stewart is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in counseling, writing, and education. Currently serving as a Counselor/Therapist at JFSA Cleveland since November 2020, Maria provides mental health services to a diverse client base. In addition, Maria has been a Freelance Columnist for cleveland.com since December 2013 and operates Shine Brighter Writing & Counseling, utilizing writing and creativity training to foster individual expression. An experienced educator, Maria has taught English and writing courses at various institutions including Cuyahoga Community College and Notre Dame College, inspiring students to enhance their writing skills. With a strong academic background, including multiple degrees from John Carroll University, Maria combines counseling expertise with a passion for writing and teaching to support individuals across different needs and backgrounds.
