Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi
Angie Gingerich has extensive experience in the behavioral health and social work fields, currently serving at the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi since November 2019. Previous roles include Social Worker at Goshen Health from March 2011 to July 2023 and Writer at Gray Communications, Inc. from August 2008 to January 2013, where Angie focused on generating stories about restaurants in Elkhart County. Earlier experience includes positions as a Probation Officer with the City of Elkhart and Elkhart County, Community Justice Coordinator/Probation Officer with the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, and Development Officer at Planned Parenthood of Indiana. Angie also served as a Birth Parent Advocate/Marketing professional at the Center for Family Building. Academic qualifications include a Master of Social Work from Indiana University South Bend and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Goshen College.

The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi is a federally recognized Tribal government with more than 1,600 enrolled Tribal Members. The NHBP main offices are located at the Pine Creek Indian Reservation near Athens, Michigan, with additional offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While NHBP seeks to improve the lives of their Tribal Members, NHBP also looks for ways to improve the lives of those around the NHBP Community. There are many events, programs and activities for NHBP Tribal Members, staff and Community members to attend throughout the year. The unity that NHBP purposely focuses on is meant to create a more diverse, accepting and caring culture.
