From November 2017 to July 2021, Amber was the General Manager at Aston Villa Football Club, successfully managing the promotion to the FA Barclay’s Super League and facilitating operational changes to a full-time model. Amber began a coaching career at The Football Association, focusing on player welfare and development, and progressed through various roles such as Football Development Officer at Northamptonshire Football Association and Assistant Coach at Leicester City Football Club. Educationally, Amber obtained a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science and an MSc in Sport Business and Leadership from Loughborough University.
