Jason Ertel is the Vice President of Engineering at Nottingham Spirk, bringing over 20 years of strategic leadership experience in consumer, medical, and industrial markets with a focus on IoT and connected devices. Previously, Jason served as the Biomedical Engineering Program Director, overseeing the engineering development of medical device startups and Fortune 500 programs. Additional roles include Engineering Program Director and NPI Operations Program Manager at Philips Healthcare, where responsibilities included facilitating design transfers for Computed Tomography systems. Earlier experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager at Zukun Plan involved significant projects, while at GE Healthcare, Jason led mechanical engineering efforts that achieved substantial cost reductions and manufacturing improvements. Jason holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Sciences from Ohio Northern University.
