Catherine Adams serves as a Senior Lecturer in Communication and Society (Journalism and PR) and in Journalism and Media Practices at Nottingham Trent University since August 2003. In addition to academic roles, Catherine works as a Broadcast Journalist for BBC News, with a robust background as a former overseas correspondent for BBC World Service, covering diverse regions including Eastern Europe, the USA, and South Africa. With a journalism career that began in 1991 as a Reporter for The Guardian, Catherine has contributed to various publications while also holding consultancy positions in several educational institutions and organizations. Education includes a BA Joint Hons in Modern Languages from the University of Bristol and a post-graduate diploma in Radio Journalism from Falmouth University, among others.
