Jennie Walker

Jennie Walker is currently a member of the Medical Technologies Advisory Committee (MTAC) at NICE since March 2024, where recommendations are made regarding medical devices aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, experiences, and resource efficiency. With extensive experience in the healthcare sector, Jennie has served as a Principal Lecturer and Programme Manager at Nottingham Trent University since October 2017. Previously held roles include Divisional Lead Nurse for Research and Innovation and Clinical Teaching Fellow at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust from August 1998 to July 2020, focusing on musculoskeletal trauma and undergraduate medical education. Jennie's academic background includes a PhD in Orthopaedic and Accident Surgery and a postgraduate certificate in Medical Education from the University of Nottingham, as well as an MSc and BSc in Nursing from the University of Manchester.
