Jon Wright

Jon Wright is an experienced academic in forensic science with over sixteen years of teaching, supervision, and leadership experience. Currently, Jon serves as the Course Leader for the BSc Forensic Science at Nottingham Trent University, leading and teaching modules from levels three to seven. Previously, Jon was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Derby, where Jon was the programme leader for BSc Forensic Science with Criminology, teaching across eleven modules. Jon's career in forensic science began at the Metropolitan Police, where Jon worked as a forensic scientist for fifteen years, specializing in various units and participating in active casework. Jon holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from the University of Derby and a degree in Applied Biochemistry from the University of London.
