Rebecca Stokes

Rebecca Stokes is an esteemed academic leader currently serving as the Director of Research Strategy and Operations at Nottingham Trent University since January 2024. Prior to this role, Rebecca held the position of Director of Research Strategy, Funding and Impact at Aston University from January 2019 to January 2024, where responsibilities included leading a team to support research and impact activities. Earlier experience includes serving as Research Strategy Manager in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham, where Rebecca focused on developing research strategies and funding frameworks, as well as a tenure as Research Policy Manager at the same institution. Rebecca holds an MA in International Higher Education from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Government from the London School of Economics, and a BA (Hons) in Economics from Newcastle University.
