Sophie Benjamin

Sophie Benjamin is a Senior Lecturer in Inorganic Chemistry at Nottingham Trent University, a position held since March 2015, where responsibilities include serving as a Radiation Protection Officer and conducting research on the coordination chemistry of heavy p-block elements. Prior to this role, Sophie Benjamin was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Southampton from October 2009 to January 2015, and began academic pursuits as a postgraduate student there, earning a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry between 2009 and 2012. Educational qualifications include an MSci in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge (2005-2009) and foundational studies at Churston Ferrers Grammar School and the City of London School for Girls.
